In an encounter on Wednesday in the inner forest of Kanha Kisli National Park in Naxal-affected Balaghat of Madhya Pradesh, Hawk Force jawans killed 3 female Naxalites. An encounter took place between Hawk Force jawans and Naxalites in Mukki area of Kanha Kisli at 11 am today. In the firing that lasted for about one and a half to two hours, 3 uniformed female Naxalites were killed by the soldiers' bullets. The female Naxalites killed in the encounter have not been identified. Confirming the encounter, Balaghat IG Sanjay Singh told the media that 3 female Naxalites have been killed in the encounter, whose bodies have been recovered. The
jawans have also recovered INSAS, SLR and 3-not-3 rifles from the encounter site. It is being told that the female Naxalite killed belongs to Kanha-Bhoramdev Naxal Division. For the last few days, the news of the presence of Naxalites in this area was reaching the police in a confidential manner. On the basis of concrete information, the Naxalites came face to face with the Hawk Force which was out on patrol today. It is being said that some more Naxalites have been injured in the encounter. The cries of some Naxalites injured in the firing have also been heard. However, the police have intensified the search in the entire area.
