Sanoj Mishra retaliated
Director Sanoj Mishra called these allegations baseless and said that Jitendra Narayan Singh alias Wasim Rizvi is trying to defame him falsely. He said, "This is the same person who tried to kill me during the release of my film 'Diary of West Bengal'. I do not even consider it appropriate to name such a person, because he has no existence of his own. Many criminal cases are registered against him. He was a Muslim earlier and now he is defaming both the communities by becoming a Hindu. He himself is a rapist and now he is making false allegations against me."

Questions were also raised on nepotism in Bollywood.
Sanoj Mishra said that nepotism and favouritism are prevalent in Bollywood and in such a situation, if they are giving a chance to a new talent, then there is no crime in it. He said, "Monalisa is just a 15-year-old girl and is like my daughter. My own daughter is 18 years old, I teach her in the same way."

Monalisa released a video to clarify.
The film's publicist Sanjay Bhushan Patiala informed that Monalisa has broken her silence by releasing a video. In the video, Monalisa said, "I have not gone to Mumbai yet. I am at my home in Madhya Pradesh and am preparing for acting by staying with my family and sister. Sanoj Mishra sir treats me like his daughter. All the false news being spread about him is completely wrong."
