Excise Kosir team confiscated 10 liters of Mahua liquor

On the instructions of Excise Commissioner cum Secretary R. Sangeeta and Collector Dharmesh Kumar Sahu, under the guidance of Assistant Commissioner Excise Sonal Netam District Sarangarh Bilaigarh, continuous action is being taken against the storage, transportation and sale of illegal liquor. In the past day, a case was registered and taken into investigation by the Excise Circle Kosir.

The Excise Circle Kosir reached the village Dahida with the village affected team and the house was duly searched. During the search, 10 litres of Mahua liquor was recovered and seized from the house of Sahas Bharti and the Excise Department took possession of it. A case was registered against the accused under Section 34 (2) 59 K of the CG Excise Act 1915 and the investigation was taken up. Assistant District Excise Officer Anand Verma, Circle Kosir Incharge Excise Sub-Inspector Loknath Sahu and Excise Chief Constable Rajendra Khande made a special contribution in this action.
