Two parties clashed over distribution of money outside the polling station

There was a ruckus in front of the Munund village polling booth of Navagarh block over distribution of money to voters and a fierce fight broke out between the two parties. The police tried to stop the people but when they did not listen, the police was forced to resort to lathi charge. On receiving the information, the SDOP and the police station in-charge reached the spot and brought the situation under control. Due to the dispute, voting was affected for a few hours. However, the people present inside were casting their votes one by one.
