There has been a lot of destruction in the state due to cloudburst. 583 roads have been blocked due to continuous rains for two days. 85 of these are on the national highway. Apart from this, 2263 electricity transformers have stopped working. This has affected the power supply. 279 water supply schemes have also been affected.

On Friday, clouds burst in Kullu's Pahanala and Kangra's Chota Bhangal's Multhan, while similar apprehensions are being expressed on Mandi's Varot hill. Eight vehicles got buried in the flood debris in Kullu's Pahanala. Parking for vehicles was made in Kullu's Sarvari Nala. After the cloud burst, water came at a high speed along with the debris and swept away the vehicles. Due to landslides, the Manali four-lane highway has been closed at many places.

The debris that fell from the mountain is accumulated on the highway, which is being removed. Three vehicles got buried under the debris due to flood in Gandhinagar drain of Kullu. Two vehicles got damaged due to falling of a tree in Manali and a tree has also fallen on Hadimba temple. Nine vehicles got damaged in Multan of Kangra. 12 houses are in danger after cloudburst in Multan of Chota Bhangal, people here have been sent to safer places. At present, the weather is calm on Saturday and people are expected to get relief in the coming days.

There was continuous snowfall in the remote Pagi valley of Chamba for the last four days. This disrupted life. The cold increased and the Pagi valley was completely cut off from the rest of the city. Electricity supply has also been disrupted for two days. The ongoing snowfall in the valley has now stopped and the local people have heaved a sigh of relief. The weather is fine today, but there are clouds in the sky. About 3 feet of snow has fallen here in four days.
