Ahmedabad   Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also visited the Vantara Wildlife Rescue, Rehabilitation and Conservation Center in Gujarat after inaugurating it. Let us tell you that, Vantara houses more than 2,000 species and more than 1.5 lakh rescued, endangered and threatened animals. During this, the Prime Minister also took stock of many facilities. During this, the Prime Minister was also seen playing with many species including Asiatic lion cubs, white lion cubs, snow leopard cubs which are a rare and endangered species, caracal cubs. The white lion cub that Prime Minister Modi fed was born in Vantara, when its mother was rescued and brought here. Caracals, once found in abundance in India, are now becoming rare. In Vantara, caracals are raised in captivity under a breeding program for their conservation and are later released into the wild.
