Cold will continue till Holi! Rain alert issued in Delhi, Bihar, UP

  New Delhi   Two western disturbances have been active in the last few days due to which the weather has changed after snowfall in the mountainous regions. IMD has said that this weather condition may continue till Holi. According to the Meteorological Department, the process of increasing heat will start after March 20, because the trend of the last 10 years is also telling the same. According to IMD, the weather in North India will suddenly change after four days. From March 9, a new western disturbance will be active in the western Himalayan region in North India and due to this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand till March 11.

According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation is formed over Assam, under whose influence light to moderate rain and snowfall along with thunderstorms are expected in Arunachal Pradesh. Assam and Meghalaya may also receive rain due to this western disturbance.

There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in these states

According to the department, the weather will deteriorate in Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh in the next 24 hours. The weather will remain hot and humid in Kerala and Mahe on March 5 and 6. There will be rain in the hilly areas of West Bengal and Sikkim on March 7 and 8. Fishermen in Gujarat have been advised not to go to the seashore. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain and lightning with thunder in Sikkim on March 7 and on March 8, there is a possibility of rain with storm in many districts of Bihar.

Heat is increasing in these states

Maximum temperatures have been recorded between 35-39 degree Celsius at most places in Maharashtra, Telangana, Kerala, North Interior Karnataka, South Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Far South Gangetic West Bengal, North Interior Tamil Nadu. Most places in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, North Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, remaining parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Mizoram and Tripura recorded temperatures between 30-35 degree Celsius. At the same time, many places in Jammu division, Himachal Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Vidarbha, East Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Assam, East Telangana, South Tamil Nadu, Coastal Karnataka are witnessing an increase of 1-2 degree Celsius in temperature.

Solapur was the hottest district in the country

On Tuesday, Solapur recorded the highest temperature in the country at 39.4 degrees Celsius. In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature has dropped by 2-5 degrees Celsius in many areas of North-West India and Western Madhya Pradesh.
