Jhunjhunu    After the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, which has left an indelible mark on the world stage, now a wave of faith and devotion is overflowing in Khatushyamji of Rajasthan. The world famous Surajgarh Nishan, a symbol of faith and devotion, left for Khatushyamji today. Thousands of devotees participated in this historic Nishan Yatra. Surajgarh Nishan is offered on the peak of Baba Shyam in Khatushyamji every year on the day of Dwadashi of Falgun month, which is a part of a tradition that has been going on for hundreds of years.

Amidst the crowd of devotees and an atmosphere of devotion, the Surajgarh Nishaan of Jhunjhunu district was duly sent off after performing Puja-Aarti. The devotees set out for Khatushyamji with camel carts, Bhajans and Jaikaras, preserving the rich tradition of Rajasthan. The special thing was that hundreds of women participated in the padyatra by keeping a sigri of burning embers on their heads, which shows their deep faith and firm devotion.

Let us tell you that the annual Lakhhi fair of Khatushyamji located in Sikar district of Rajasthan has started. Lakhs of devotees are reaching Khatushyamji from every corner of the country. If we talk about Shekhawati region, then all the three districts of Shekhawati, Sikar, Jhunjhunu and Churu are seen painted in the color of Baba Shyam. Cheers of Baba Shyam are echoing everywhere.
