FIR lodged against 3 officers after EOW raid...

Raipur The ACB-EOW team raided 15 places in Chhattisgarh from 4 am on Sunday. During this time, the team has also registered a crime against three officials in the disproportionate assets case.

The officials against whom FIR has been registered include Shyam Sundar Chauhan, the then DMC, Samagra Shiksha Department, Ashok Kumar Patel, the then DFO Sukma and Anand Ji Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Tribal Development Department.

The ACB team is still conducting search operations at 15 residences of the relatives of these officers in Sukma, Chhindgarh, Raigarh, Pusaur Raigarh, Sarangarh, Bijapur, Jagdalpur, Geedam, Dantewada, Konta. The team has recovered documents related to immovable properties, cash, gold-silver and jewellery in large quantities from these places. At present, the search operation is still underway. Further information will be given by ACB-EOW after the investigation is completed.
