At the same time, a soldier has also been martyred in this encounter.

According to the information received, the soldiers had launched a big operation to surround the big cadres of Naxalites in the forests of Andri in Bijapur Gangalore area on the information of their presence. The soldiers have recovered the bodies of all the killed Naxalites. At present, the soldiers have not been able to return from the spot. Weapons like AK, SLR, INSAS, 303, 315 bore, 12 bore, Bharmar etc. have also been recovered from the encounter site.
