The residents of the capital got relief from the heat, it rained in the afternoon

Raipur People have got some relief from the scorching heat in Chhattisgarh. The rain in various parts of the state late on Sunday night has brought down the temperature. On the other hand, the weather remained pleasant even after Monday afternoon and it rained with strong winds. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the next three hours. A special warning has been issued for Raipur, Mahasamund, Gariaband, Balodabazar, Dhamtari and Bemetara districts.

The weather suddenly took a turn late night on Sunday, April 27. Heavy rains occurred in many areas with thunder and lightning, which brought relief from the scorching heat. A drop in temperature has been recorded and people have got some relief from the piercing hot winds. After the rain, the morning weather looked pleasant in Raipur and surrounding districts.

The Meteorological Department has warned that during the next 3 hours, light to moderate rains may occur with thunder and lightning in Raipur, Mahasamund, Gariaband, Balodabazar, Dhamtari and Bemetara districts. Along with this, there is also a possibility of hailstorm in some areas. The main reason for this change in weather is the western disturbance, which is currently showing its effect from North India to Chhattisgarh. Due to the western disturbance, the direction of the winds has changed and the humidity has increased, due to which incidents like rain and hailstorm are happening. Experts say that the weather may fluctuate for the next few days. There is a possibility of a drop in the day temperature as well as an increase in cold at night.
