Raipur After a day of calm, the mood of the weather changed again on Saturday. On Thursday, the weather wreaked havoc in almost all parts of Chhattisgarh. Strong storm had disrupted life. After the storm, the rain gave relief from the heat of the sun. The weather was clear on Friday, but on Saturday afternoon, clouds gathered and wind started blowing. If seen, the Meteorological Department had issued an orange alert for 3 days.
Three-day orange alert
The Meteorological Department has issued a three-day orange alert for the state. According to the department, there is a possibility of strong storm, thunder and light to moderate rain from Sunday to Tuesday. Strong winds can blow at a speed of up to 60 km per hour in some areas.
Special vigilance is needed in these districts
The Meteorological Department has considered many districts including Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Rajnandgaon, Mahasamund, Dhamtari, Ambikapur and Janjgir as sensitive. There is also a possibility of thunderstorm along with lightning here. Farmers and common citizens have been advised not to stay in open places.
Impact on agricultural work
Strong storm and rain can affect crop harvesting and storage work. The Agriculture Department has advised farmers to keep the grains covered after harvesting and not to leave them in the open for long.
Heat will increase again
According to weather experts, after this period of rain and storm, the temperature may again increase rapidly. The maximum temperature may go beyond 40 degrees in many parts of the state.
