Extortion from villager by making false allegations: 3 policemen including TI suspended

   Raigarh     Major action has been taken against three policemen who have tarnished the police uniform in Raigarh district. After allegations of illegal recovery from a villager, Superintendent of Police Divyang Patel has attached Gharghoda police station in-charge Harshvardhan Singh Bais and two constables to the line.

The villager told in the complaint that the three policemen falsely accused him of making and selling Mahua liquor and demanded money in exchange for releasing him by making a small case against him. The victim claimed that this entire conspiracy was hatched only with the intention of extortion.

Negligence exposed in investigation, SP took action
Initial investigation confirmed the negligence and improper action of the station in-charge and two constables. After this, all three have been attached to the protected center Raigarh.

Cyber ​​DSP will conduct impartial investigation
Deputy Superintendent of Police of Cyber ​​​​Branch has been appointed as the investigating officer for impartial investigation of the case. Further disciplinary and legal action will be taken if found guilty in the investigation.

With this action, the police department has tried to give the message that activities like corruption and illegal recovery will not be tolerated. This initiative of Raigarh Police is considered a necessary step towards transparency and accountability.
