Rudraprayag Two people were killed and four others were injured when a heavy boulder fell on a vehicle carrying pilgrims from Chhattisgarh's Durg district to Kedarnath in Uttarakhand's Kakragad area. The accident took place about 30 km from Rudraprayag city. The
deceased include the driver and the devotees.
The deceased have been identified as Rajesh Rawat (driver) and Shailesh Kumar Yadav, both residents of Chhattisgarh's Durg district. The accident took place when the vehicle carrying pilgrims was passing near Kakragad on the Kedarnath Yatra route.
Treatment of the injured continues in Agastyamuni
. The injured were immediately rushed to the Community Health Center, Agastyamuni, where they are undergoing treatment. According to doctors, the condition of all the injured is stable, but they are still under observation.
