Pune Actor Akshay Kumar had to take the mic to calm down the crowd gathered at a mall during the promotion of his film Housefull 5 on Sunday. Akshay had reached the mall with his co-stars Nana Patekar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma and Fardeen Khan, but the situation went out of control as a huge crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the stars.

In a video viral online, a woman was seen crying and another man was seen complaining of suffocation. Seeing the situation worsen, Akshay Kumar appealed to the people through the mic with folded hands: "You people have to go from here. Please do not push and shove. I request with folded hands, there are women and children here."

Housefull 5 is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It is the fifth installment of the comedy franchise, which will release in cinemas this Friday.
