Meritorious children of workers will get incentives from the Chief Minister

  Raipur   Under the Chief Minister Noni Babu Medhavi Shiksha Sahayata Yojana, a total of 31 meritorious students of registered workers who came in the top 10 in class 10th and 12th in the board examination will be given an incentive amount of two lakh rupees each in a program organized by Chief Minister Sai at the New Circuit House on June 15. Labor Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan and Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board President Dr. Ram Pratap Singh will also be present on this occasion.

      Labor Minister Devangan said that under the proposed program of the Board, a total of 31 labor children including 26 children of class 10th and 5 children of class 12th in Chhattisgarh Secondary Education Board will be given Rs 2 lakh per student under the Chief Minister Noni Babu Medhavi Shiksha Sahayata Yojana. This includes Rs 1 lakh for a two-wheeler and Rs 1 lakh as cash incentive. Similarly, Chhattisgarh Bhawan and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board will transfer more than Rs 19.71 crore as assistance to 38200 construction workers of the state directly in their bank accounts through DBT. This amount will be provided under various welfare schemes. 

      The details of the schemes and the number of their beneficiaries and the amount are as follows - 
      Minimata Mahtari Jatan Yojana Rs 3.83 crore to 1,915 workers, Chief Minister Cycle Assistance Scheme Rs 10.33 lakh to 279 workers, Chief Minister Laborer Tool Assistance Scheme Rs 2.19 crore to 6,319 workers, Chief Minister Sewing Machine Assistance Scheme Rs 94 thousand 800 to 12 workers, Chief Minister Naunihal Scholarship Scheme Rs 96.17 lakh to 4,825 workers, Chief Minister Noni Babu Medhavi Education Assistance Scheme Rs 37.63 lakh to 155 workers, Chief Minister Construction Labor Longevity Assistance Scheme Rs 40 thousand to 2 workers, Chief Minister Construction Laborer Safety Equipment Assistance Scheme Rs 74.08 lakh to 4,939 workers, Excellent Sports Promotion Scheme for Children of Construction Workers Rs 50 thousand to 1 worker, Didi E-Rickshaw Assistance Scheme Rs 7 lakh to 7 workers, Chief Minister Construction Laborer Death and Disabled Assistance Scheme Rs 2.64 crore to 264 workers, Chief Minister Noni Empowerment Assistance Scheme Rs 4.97 crore to 2,486 workers, Rs 74.40 lakh to 372 workers under Chief Minister Shramik Sian Assistance Scheme, Rs 2.00 crore to 15,066 workers under Assistance Amount Scheme for Free Uniform and Book Copies for Children of Construction Workers, Rs 2.00 crore to 25 workers, Chief Minister Construction Shramik Housing Assistance Scheme Rs 25 lakh to 25 workers. This initiative will play a vital role in providing financial assistance to the construction workers of the state and their families and improving their standard of living.
