Bhilai: Bharat Ratna Loknayak Jayprakash Narayan Memorial Foundation was organized on Sunday on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of the country late Rajiv Gandhi at HSCL Colony Ruabandha. The people present offered flowers on the portrait of late Rajiv Gandhi and paid their respects. Senior advocate Jameel Ahmed lit the lamp and paid tribute to late Rajiv Gandhi with flower garland and inaugurated the program.
In his address, Advocate Jameel Ahmed threw a brief light on the life of late Rajiv Gandhi. In which computerization started by late Rajiv Gandhi, modernization of industries and employment of youth was highlighted. The convenor of the establishment, RP Sharma, made a special mention of the efforts made by Rajiv Gandhi to maintain the unity and integrity of the country during the prime ministership.
On the current situation in the country, he said that the fire in Manipur and Nuh is likely to spread to other parts of the country, due to which every responsible citizen of the country is worried. He said that the thinking of changing the constitution by BJP is dangerous. BJP is underestimating the country and the people. Due respect is not given to the great men of the country by the people of BJP. He said that Bhupesh Baghel's government is running according to the thinking of Mahatma Gandhi. Kapil Prasad, Trilok Singh, Amit Kumar, Mishri Ram Rajak, Arvind Prasad, Nandkishore Sahu, Jairam Pasi and Vidya Bhushan were present on the occasion among others.
