State level school sports competition to be organized from 27th

Rajnandgaon: As per the instructions of Public Education Directorate, Raipur, State Level School Sports Competition 2023-24 will be organized from 27 to 30 September 2023. In which the district has hosted the games of hockey, basketball, volleyball, softball and badminton. Regarding the preparation of which, District Education Officer Shri Rajesh Singh took a meeting. District Education Officer said that Rajnandgaon district has got the hosting of five sports in the state level school sports competition. It is the responsibility of the entire team to complete it successfully. He directed to organize the sports grounds and provide better facilities to the visiting players and visitors. All PTIs and teachers should make the hosting and event memorable and successful by setting an excellent example of sportsmanship. Keep continuously monitoring the accommodation, food and other arrangements of the players. He said that the coming players and visitors should not face any kind of problem.

Assistant District Sports Officer Usha Chatterjee, while discussing agenda wise, presented information about the local sports grounds, determination of PTI's responsibility for preparing the sports grounds, accommodation arrangements, transportation arrangements for the team, and detailed outline of the opening and closing ceremonies. It is noteworthy that Rajnandgaon district has got the hosting of five sports in the state level school sports competition 2023-24. Which includes Hockey 19 years boys and girls, Basketball 19 years boys and girls, Volleyball 17 years boys and girls, Softball 14 years boys and girls, Badminton 14,17,19 years boys and girls. Accommodation arrangements for the players and visiting visitors have been made in Thakur Pyare Lal School, Maharani Lakshmibai School, Wesleyan Hindi and English Medium School, Gujarati School, Gurunanak School, Royal Kids School, JMJ School. 730 participants and 130 team managers, coaches, managers and officers will participate from five divisions of Chhattisgarh state. In the meeting, MLB School Principal CR Verma, Thakur Pyare Lal School Principal Bhushan Sao and Shailendra Tiwari, Devendra Singh Thakur, Radha Rao, Raj Kumar Nandeshwar, Hemant Pandey, Digvijay Srivastava, Swapnil Jha, Nisar Abbas, Tejas Rahul, Imran Khan and Exercise teacher was present.
