Tourism of the state got a new identity: Madheshwar mountain got the pride of being the world's largest natural replica of Shivling

Madheshwar mountain located in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh has been recognized as the world's largest natural replica of Shivling. This historic achievement has got a place in the Golden Book of World Records. Madheshwar mountain has been recorded in the record book as 'Largest Natural Facsimile of Shivling'. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai congratulated the people of the state for this achievement and called it a new dimension in the achievements of tourism in the state.

Golden Book of Records representatives Smt. Hemal Sharma and Shri Amit Soni met Chief Minister Shri Sai today at his office in the Ministry and handed over the certificate of world record to him. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma, Food Minister Mr. Dayal Das Baghel, Forest Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap, Industry Minister Mr. Lakhanlal Dewangan, Health Minister Mr. Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade were present.

It is noteworthy that recently Jashpur district has been included in the popular tourism website https://www.easemytrip.com among tourists. After this, this is another big achievement for the district. Jashpur is the first district of Chhattisgarh to be included in this website, due to which information about the natural places of Jashpur will be easily available to the tourist lovers and tourism will get more boost.

Madheshwar Mountain, located 35 km from Mayali village in Kunkuri block of Jashpur district, is famous for its amazing natural structure in the shape of Shivling. This place is the center of religious faith of the people, where local villagers worship it as the world's largest Shivling.
