Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal arrived to meet Padma Vibhushan Smt. Teejan Bai

State Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal reached village Ganiyari (development block Patan, district Durg) today to know the condition of Padma Vibhushan Smt. Teejan Bai, a folk singer of Pandavani. He met Padma Vibhushan Smt. Teejan Bai and her family and enquired about her well-being and health. Minister Jaiswal presented a cheque of Rs. 5 lakh financial assistance to Padma Vibhushan Smt. Teejan Bai on behalf of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. Jaiswal also assured to discuss with the Chief Minister regarding the demand for a job in the family. He also talked about providing better medical facilities from the government level.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has directed that there should be no shortage in the treatment of Padma Vibhushan Smt. Teejan Bai, the identity of Chhattisgarh. A team of doctors has also been deployed for the treatment of Teejan Bai, who also keep issuing her medical bulletin continuously. Health Minister Jaiswal, who arrived as the representative of the Chief Minister, honored Smt. Teejan Bai by presenting her a shawl and coconut. On this occasion, MLAs Doman Lal Korsevada, Lalit Chandrakar and Gajendra Yadav, Director Health Services, Collector, CMHO and health workers were also present.
