Prime Minister Modi will hand over appointment letters to 71,000 youth in the employment fair

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hand over appointment letters to more than 71,000 youth in the recruitment campaign 'Rojgar Mela' on Monday. On this occasion, PM Modi will also address the youth through video conference.


The Prime Minister's Office issued a statement on Sunday giving this information. Prime Minister Modi will join the program at 10:30 am through video conference in programs organized simultaneously at 45 places across the country. These appointments have been made in various ministries / departments including Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services.


According to the PMO, this is another step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister's commitment to give top priority to employment generation. This will provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their participation in nation building and self-empowerment.


Earlier on October 29, PM Modi addressed the employment fair and distributed appointment letters to more than 51,000 newly appointed youth in government departments and organizations through video conferencing.


During that time, PM Modi told the youth who received the job letter that you are servants of the people, not rulers, so you should serve the poor and backward. In the next 25 years, you will build a developed India.


The first job fair of Prime Minister Modi's third term after the Lok Sabha elections was (29 October). The job fair started in October 2022. Under this, 13 fairs have been organized so far. In which more than eight and a half lakh youth have been given jobs. More than 75,000 appointment letters were handed over during the first ceremony.


Recruitment is done by the central ministries and departments themselves and through recruitment agencies like UPSC, SSC and Railway Recruitment Board. The selection process is said to be simple and technically efficient.
