Female teacher was taking benefit of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, FIR registered

On the instructions of Collector Vinay Langeh, an FIR has been registered against teacher Neelam Goswami who was taking undue advantage of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Officials of the Women and Child Development Department have lodged an FIR against her last night.

According to the information, Ramakant Goswami, Secretary of Gram Panchayat Ghodari, filled the Mahtari Vandan Yojana form in the name of his wife Neelam Goswami, who is a teacher, by giving wrong information and unethically received the amount in the account of his wife who is posted in village Keshava. It is against the government rules for any government servant to get undue benefit by giving wrong information.

Taking it seriously, Collector Langeh said that this is an important scheme of the government, apart from the eligible beneficiaries, strict action will be taken against those who try to take advantage of it in an unfair manner. He said that only the eligible beneficiaries should be ensured to get the benefit, strict action will be taken against those who are taking advantage in an unfair manner.
