A strange incident has come to light in Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. A tubewell that was lying closed for years in Talon ka Bera area of Bawdi town of the district became a matter of curiosity when flammable material came out when it was restarted.
Fire is also coming out of this tubewell that was closed for years.
According to the information, Annaram Devda, a resident of Talon ka Bera of Bawdi town, had dug a tubewell in his field about 25 years ago. In which, after 5 years, about 20 years ago, the tubewell was closed when there was less water in the tubewell.
Now this time, due to heavy rains, an attempt was made to restart the tubewell on Sunday. On Monday, while putting a pump in this tubewell, he got suspicious when he smelled gas, so he lit a matchstick and saw that the tubewell started catching fire.
Somehow, the fire was controlled by pouring water and the pump was taken out. This news spread like wildfire. The tubewell owner informed Bawdi Subdivision Officer Jawaharram Chaudhary about this. After this, the officers reached the spot and inspected.
