In Raipur, a truck ran over people sitting on the roadside, 2 children died on the spot, 10 injured

Two people died and more than 10 people were injured in a tragic road accident in Silatra area.

The accident happened when the driver parked the vehicle on the roadside due to technical fault in the storm vehicle. The passengers who got down from the vehicle were sitting on the roadside, when a speeding truck came and crushed them.

There were 13 people in the vehicle, 2 died

14-year-old Monika and 12-year-old Aradhya died on the spot in the accident, while 10 people were injured, out of which the condition of three is said to be critical.

A total of 13 people were in the vehicle. Police reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital and took the truck driver into custody. The accident happened in Dharsiwa police station area.

According to the information, the victim family was returning from the trip to Jagannath Puri and Amarkantak in the winter vacation. Silatra outpost police is investigating the matter.
