Heavy rain warning in many states of the country

The weather seems to be changing in North India. Due to western disturbances, cold has increased in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Bihar. Light rain has been recorded in Delhi in the last few days. After the rain, the temperature also dropped. Westerly winds are blowing in Delhi-NCR. Due to this, the cold has increased more in the morning and evening.

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely in Arunachal Pradesh and Northeast Assam on February 6 and 7, while heavy rain is likely at some places in Arunachal Pradesh on February 07. Another fresh western disturbance is likely to affect the western Himalayan region on February 8. Under its influence, sporadic to light rain and snowfall activity is likely in the western Himalayan region during February 08-11.

Weather forecasting agency Skymet says that light to moderate rain is likely in Gilgit-Baltistan, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Snowfall may also occur. Light rain warning has been issued in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh.

Fog warning in these states including Bihar

Due to western disturbance, the effect of cold remains in Bihar. However, a gradual increase in temperature has been predicted. Dense fog will prevail in the morning and evening for the next few days in many districts including Patna, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur and Gaya. The effect of cold will remain due to westerly winds and fluctuations in temperature can also be seen in the coming days. Apart from Bihar, dense fog is likely to prevail in Odisha and Himachal Pradesh in the morning.

Haryana-Punjab Weather Forecast

Due to the effect of western disturbance in Haryana and Punjab, an alert has been issued in view of rain for the next three days. The Air Quality Index was recorded at 302 in Gurugram during the last 24 hours, which falls in the 'low' category, while the AQI of Faridabad was 217.

How will the weather be in Rajasthan

Due to western disturbance in Rajasthan, light rain has occurred in many districts including Jaipur, Ajmer, Dholpur and Bikaner. 3.4 mm of rain was recorded in Ajmer, 2.0 mm in Dholpur and 1.0 mm in Jaipur. The minimum temperature in Sangaria was 6.7 degrees and 8.4 degrees in Jaisalmer. The weather department has predicted that the movement of clouds will continue in the coming days.
