Missing American plane met with an accident, 10 died

The wreckage of the plane that went missing while going to Nome city in western Alaska has been found. The plane had crashed on sea ice. All 10 people on board the plane have died in this accident. Giving information, US Coast Guard spokesman Mike Salerno said that the rescue team has found the wreckage. After the wreckage of the plane was seen from the helicopter, the rescue team was sent to the spot. The rescue team found that all the people on board the plane had died.

According to the Alaska Department of Public Safety, the Bering Air single-engine turboprop plane took off from Unalakleet with nine passengers and a pilot. The plane lost contact near Nome, Alaska's westernmost major city. The Coast Guard said it went missing 30 miles (48 kilometers) southeast of Nome. A rescue operation was launched and they found the wreckage of the plane a few hours later.

The plane took off in bad weather

After the accident, such information is also coming to light that when the plane took off, there was light snowfall and fog. After the flight, the officials lost contact with the plane. White Mountain Fire Chief Jack Adams said that the plane disappeared from the radar somewhere between the coast of Nome and Topkok.

No signal received from the plane

Coast Guard Lieutenant Commander Benjamin McIntyre-Coble said they had not received any distress signals from the plane. Planes have an emergency locating transmitter. When it comes into contact with seawater, a message is sent to the Coast Guard to indicate that the plane is in trouble. He said the Coast Guard had not received any such messages.
