4 killed, 16 injured in Tata Magic collision with truck

Four people died when a Tata Magic and a truck collided on Wednesday night on Madanpur and Bichaula road on Badaun road in Kalan police station area. 16 people were injured in the accident. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Farrukhabad. People were stunned to see the scene at the accident spot in the morning. The highway where the accident took place was red with blood. 

On Wednesday night at around 11:15 pm, a truck coming at high speed collided with a Tata Magic vehicle. There was a lot of shouting after the accident. On receiving the information, the PRV team reached the spot. The injured were admitted to the district hospital of Farrukhabad. In the accident, Shyamvati (60 years) wife of Mohanlal resident of village Kachliya, Thana Tadiava, Hardoi and Sharmila (26 years) wife of Arun resident of Thana Maholi, Sitapur died on the spot. At the same time, Lavkush (30 years) son of Neelkanth resident of village Fakarpur, Thana Pisawan, Sitapur and Ramkumari (35 years) wife of Mahendra resident of Siddhpur, Thana Khitauli, Lakhimpur died during treatment in the hospital. Apart from this, 16 passengers have been injured. CO Jalalabad Amit Chaurasia said that all the people in the pickup were going from Sitapur to Haryana to work. The truck that caused the accident is being searched.
