Raipur Municipal Corporation Election: Plan prepared for traffic and parking during counting of votes...

Urban body elections were concluded on February 11, after which the counting of votes will be held on February 15. Counting of votes for Raipur Municipal Corporation will be held at Government Engineering College Sejbahar. Raipur Traffic Police has prepared a special parking plan for smooth conduct of counting and to keep the traffic organized.

Traffic and parking arrangements:
Only vehicles of the observer, returning officer (RO) and assistant returning officer (ARO) will be allowed entry from the main gate of Government Engineering College.

Government officials and employees engaged in counting work will park their vehicles in the ground located next to the gate of the engineering college and reach the counting place on foot.

The candidates and their counting agents will park their vehicles in the designated parking space in front of the main gate of the Engineering College and enter the counting venue on foot.

A special parking space has been designated outside the main gate of the Engineering College for vehicles of print and electronic media.

Traffic diversion:
During the counting of votes, heavy vehicles will be diverted from Purana Dhamtari Road, Kamal Vihar Tiraha and Bharengabhata Chowk so that traffic is not disrupted around the counting venue.

The traffic police has appealed to the general public for cooperation and advised them to follow the instructions so that there is no chaos during the counting of votes.
