More than two lakh devotees took darshan from morning to 12 noon on Tuesday, the 35th day of Maha Kumbh Palt Pravah in Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple. After Mangala Aarti in the morning, the lines of devotees were till Godaulia and Maidagin. VIP and protocol darshan are also being done. Crowd management is being done by giving darshan to devotees in double line from one gate of the sanctum sanctorum.

Temple CEO Vishwabhushan Mishra said that devotees standing in two lines are being given darshan from one gate of the sanctum sanctorum. This system has been implemented on the initiative of Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma. With this, maximum number of devotees are being given darshan. In this, the general devotees of the temple standing in one line are having darshan.

At the same time, the devotees coming in the second line are being given tableau darshan from outside the sanctum sanctorum by making a stepped platform. In such a situation, devotees standing in two lines are being given darshan from one gate at a time.

The temple CEO said that apart from this, work is also going on for crowd management inside the temple. On Mahashivratri also, darshan and worship in the temple will be according to the rules implemented in Mahakumbh.

Kashi Zone ADCP engaged in security arrangements
On the other hand, in view of the huge crowd of devotees, Kashi Zone ADCP Sarvanan T. said that in view of the crowd of devotees in Kashi Vishwanath temple, strong security arrangements have been made. He said that due to the reverse flow of Mahakumbh, there is a huge gathering of tourists and pilgrims in Varanasi. Every day we are ensuring that tourists and pilgrims can have darshan in a safe manner. Separate places have been made for the entry and exit of pilgrims. So that there is no hindrance in movement. Also, drones are being used to monitor the overcrowding in boats. All boat owners have also been informed to ensure the safety of tourists.
